My wife had to take a few days vacation time from her job so we decided to take a drive to the north of Germany and go over to the North Sea Island of Norderney.  The weather on the way up there and for the first evening was pretty nice, but the following day was cooler, windy, and wetter.  Still, I managed to get a few photos around the island in between short rain showers. 


The following day we drove to visit some of her friends who live near Jever.  I like that area better and the beer is pretty good.  I guess I’m one of the few people who likes pils to be a little bitter.  Anyway, the photos can be found in the Albums section under Norderney 2009.

Another handy place to check out if you’re into web or print publishing is iStock Photo. They offer a number of royalty free prints for download. I’ve used a number of their stock photos for the MUG web pages and a few for the Girl Scout pages.
